Exceptional and Rich baked Citrus notes. High notes of tropical estery fruit balanced by full base fruitcake bitterness at the end.
Every bottle is a slice of the time it was made. It will never be exactly the same again. The heat in the atmosphere, the water temperature. The cooling, the volatiles from the citrus, how the copper reacts to the components in the wash.
This is also the first recycled Citrus liqueur in the world. And as a quad sec – it is officially 1 better than any triple sec, anywhere in the world.
We source our Lemons, Oranges and Grapefruits from Central Manchester.
Every Friday we collect juiced fruit from our stockists. We clean & hand sort each piece and infuse straight into our next batch off the still.
We also balance sugar and acidity. Cointreau and other large multinational liqueurs run around 230 g / L. We believe in a dry approach to the category – holding around 175 g / L
This means off the bat you’ll have a more punchy, complex multilayered first sip. If you’d like to add the sugar back when you mix, we’d like you to have the option.
