…This is the essence of what we produce. It is high in alcohol content, and should be treated responsibly, but it does not taste like danger. It tastes like suprising tropical tang, heavy citrus peel on the finish and lingering, mouth puckering sense of ABV.
When we distil a batch of quad sec, or blue liqueur, distillation takes place over the course of anywhere from 6-12 hours. We heat our citrus peel in alcohol and water, until alcohol containing the volatile flavours makes its way through the air. Picking up high and rich tropical grapefruit, tart orange & lemon, and low bass funk hidden in the pith alongside cakey raisin and subtle caramel.
Our orange, lemon & grapefruit peels are entirely recycled from juiced husks we collect every friday from bars in Manchester. This is the worlds first recycled citrus distillate.
When it cools, it condenses into this. Due to the abv and water content, the flavours you can find in our other liqueurs (from the same distillate) will be very different here. We do not add any dilution or sugar to what you recieve, so be prepared for something extremely challenging & complex.
We expect our neat distillate (this) to be more tropical (and high abv).

Quad sec (40% abv with sugar and dilution) to express a more Citrus focused product, excellent in places where cointreau & triple sec usually tread.
Blue (20% abv with sugar and dilution) to express from rich grapefruit cake and caramel with lingering citrus. Make your drinks blue, and excellent.
