We've only made 30 x 450ml bottles of this 42-48% abv Liqueur. The abv will vary by bottle depending on production as they're still being aged.
We harvested blackberry leaves from may & june '24 onwards, until october. Depending on the weather, the site, the field & the sun. We've only taken leaves from South Manchester sites in Parks or Wildlife sites far from traffic. We only pick leaves central to the plant and far from the ground.
We've extremely selectively chosen young green banana tropical leaves at the head of the plant, occasionally picking bigger leaves which contain rough angry tang and chlorophyll acidity.
If you've never picked blackberry leaves then you will never know the thousand angry pricks which are intended by nature to prevent you gaining access to this glorious flavour hoard.
On the day they're picked, we clean and cut them from the stem, discarding & composting all thorns and rough furious stem. Then pack them into a sealed container made of glass for 2 weeks, or until the batch is ready.
We check them every day, that the wet dry sour green ascerbic has begun to grow into the funky tropical rich banana blackberry. Making sure that is has not pushed too far into the soil, rock, brown, flinty.
Then we dehydrate them. They take hours rather than days. They're run at low temperatures between 40 and 50 degrees on 100% renewable energy,
Then we infuse. Then bottled & aged.
It is rich, complex, acidic with notes of secret berry, banana caramel, & vanilla alongside green leaf. Serious & Unique. 42-48% abv
It sings when you pair it with a berry liqueur over ice, and it calmly serenades you when you add it to a good quality tonic.
Depending on the bottle it may respond to the aging conditions differently, and require a different sugar content or dilution. Hence the variable abv. Each bottle will list accordingly.

- Unless faulty, your items are returned to us in a resalable condition. this means unopened, in the same condition you received them and with any labels and packaging intact

Please note: Unfortunately we will not be able to refund the cost of postage, either of your original order or the return unless the item is faulty. For faulty items we will resend a replacement at no extra cost and refund the cost of your original delivery.
