Pumpkin spiced Old Fashioned. 👻
40ml Rum
15ml Mouse Kingdom Liqueurs Fig & Honey
17ml ghosts 👻
10ml Pumpkin Spice Syrup*
Mix all ingredients, stir over ice and then serve in a Chilled Pumpkin (you can sub a Cocktail glass if you fancy, or an Old Fashioned with Ice).
*pumpkin puree (we used the contents of our squash), 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp ginger, 4 cloves, 1/2 tsp cinnamon (or 1 cinnamon stick), vanilla (1/2 a vanilla pod or a few dashes of extract), & sugar 2:1 water
Syrup Method:
With 2:1 mix of sugar & water, you would mix 500gm sugar, 250ml water heat until it all dissolves (being extremely careful to avoid boiling or spilling as hot syrup is dangerous), and add the spices in proportions listed. Feel free to tweak, or sub, or ditch, if you can't find certain flavours🤷♂️.)
Cook it until its spoooooooky👀
Then strain it to remove solids and allow to cool.
